You will be picked up from your hotel in Chengdu or airport or train station then taken to the panda base.
9:00 a.m. Arrive at Wolong Gengda Panda Base
Arrive at Gengda Panda Base in Gengda Town. Register as a Panda Base volunteer. Your experience will consist of working closely with the pandas and panda keepers in their enclosures. In the morning, your main jobs will be to clean the panda enclosures, prepare bamboo and feed the pandas.
12:00 p.m. Lunch
2:00 p.m. More panda keeper activities
Clean the enclosure and feed the pandas again and make notes about their afternoon activities. Learn about the animal from the experts and get a certificate acknowledging your work as a panda volunteer.
Then back to the office to make panda cakes. Your cakes will be food of the pandas for the next day!
3:00 p.m. Depart for Chengdu

Rebkong: The art of Thangka painting.

Rongpo Gonchen Gompa: the principal monastery of Repkong and was originally constructed in 1301.

D2(February, 2018): Xining – Kumbum Monastery – Tongren
After breakfast we will drive to Tongren, and visit Kumbum Monastery.

Kumbum Monastery: Established in 1377, Kumbum Monastery enjoys a great reputation in Tibetan Buddhism, especially among monks of Gelugpa, because Master Tsongkhapa, the founder of Gelugpa, was born near here, Kumbum Monastery is one of the six great Gelukpa sect monasteries in tibetan area. 3rd Dalai Lama, 4th Dalai Lama, 5th Dalai Lama, 7th Dalai Lama, 13th Dalai Lama, 14th Dalai Lama, the 6th Panchen Lama, the 9th Panchen Lama and the 10th Panchen Lama, have held religious activities in Kumbum Monastery.

We will drive to Tongren County in the historic region of Amdo, which is the cradle of Rebkong, the famous town of Tibetan painter, and is the only national historical and cultural city in Qinghai province.

D3(February, 2018): Tongren
After breakfast we will go to Gomar Monastery to experience local “Thanksgiving Breakfast”. On the 8th day of lunar calendar in January, the activity of “Thanksgiving Breakfast” is held annually in Gomar Monastery, which has already been lasting for over 200 years, except during “The Cultural Revolution”. “Thanksgiving Breakfast”, is that the monastery receives donor’s giving, which will be donated to the local people as a breakfast in the village. This is a thanksgiving activity, whose capital is donated by villagers, and the monastery will give away the money and other stuff, to make a morning tea or cook a breakfast for villagers, being grateful for everyone’s help through the whole year. The scene of this activity is very spectacular. The monastery has to prepare enough butter cake, yak-butter milk tea, fruits, candies, and small notes for almost several thousand people.

Thanksgiving Breakfast lasts for about one to two hours, then we will go visit Gomar Monastery. Be prepared for afternoon’s shooting.

Thangka Unfolding: The ceremony of thangka unfolding is very serious. The lama who are responsible for maintaining order should walk first, other lama falling behind hold canopy, beat the drums, play spiral trumpet, and some young men carry red-cloth Buddha to the Thangka Unfolding Platform. Along the road, Tibetan people will try to touch thangka with their forehead, because they think that means good luck and endless honor.

We will take pictures of thangka unfolding in Gomar Monastery and Wutun Lower Monastery.

D4(February, 2018): Tongren
Today we will stay in Wutun Lower Village and Wutun Monastery for the whole day. We will go experience the folklore in the village and the monastery, visit Master of Thangka painting in the village or in the monastery, and enjoy their skilled techniques and delicate paintings.

We will also hold an important activity in Wutun Lower Monastery – Cham Dance. The dancer will wear mask and gorgeous costumes, and carry wishful and magical tools in hand, to perform as god protector, to praise god, to cut the devil, etc. The dancer moves fast, quickly and dramatically.

D5(February, 2018): Tongren
The whole day for shooting Cham Dance in Gomar Monastery. And visit of Rongpo Gonchen Gompa.

D6(February, 2018): Tongren – Xiahe
Around noon we will leave for Labrang Monastery.
Labrang Monastery is one of six Gelugpa Monastery in Tibetan Buddhism, It boasts the best Tibetan Buddhism system and is hailed as the world’s institution of Tibetology. You will find world’s longest corridor of prayer wheels, which has 1700 prayer wheels and is 3.5 km long. And Monlam Festival will be most busiest days in Labrang Monastery around the whole year.

D7(February, 2018): Labrang Monastery
To take pictures of Thangka Unfolding in Labrang Monastery. Thangka Unfolding is the highlight of Monlam Festival. The process is similar to the ceremony in Tongren, but here get more pilgrims, and the scene is busier.

D8(February, 2018): Labrang Monastery
Take pictures of Cham Dance in Labrang Monastery.
Around tens upon of thousands of pilgrims and visitors dressing up gather together around the square of Labrang Monastery. When the music starts, the cham dance begins. With the monk’s accompaniment, over 30 dancers with masks tell religious stories vividly to audience by dancing and turning around. Cham dance is like early Tibetan dance grace, rough, bold, and anthropomorphic. The characteristics are to introduce the good and bad roles through masks. This kind of dance is learned from folk dance, with dramatic jumping and turning.

D9(February, 2018): Labrang Monastery—Lanzhou

D2(February, 2018): Chengdu – Songpan Ancient Town, 310km, 5.5 hours.
After breakfast drive to Jiuzhaigou, on the way visit to Songpan Ancient Town, which was built and functioned as a military in the Tang Dynasty (618–907). Have a walk in the town and Climb up the wall of the fortress to have a nice view of the city. Then keep driving to your hotel near jiuzhaigou national park.

D3(February, 2018): Songpan – Jiuzhaigou, 100km, 2 hours
After Breakfast drive about 2 hours to jiuzhaigou national park, UNESCO’s World Heritage and also one of the most famous tourist destination in China. You will enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of colorful lakes, mature forests, and spectacular waterfalls. There is not so many tourist in winter.

D4(February, 2018): Jiuzhaigou – Zhagana Tibetan Village
After breakfast drive via zoige county to to Zhagana tibetan village, where the most attractive scene is the original stone mountain and village.

D5(February, 2018): Zhagana Village – Langmusi Town
In the early morning we will go to take photos of sunrise in Tibetan Village. Zhagana is located in the middle of rocks and mountains, with the altitude of thousands of meters, so it always surrounded by fog and cloud. Then we will have a walk in the Tibetan Village Zhagana, to take photos of their original life. After that we will continue our trip to Langmusi town, which is one of the 50 charming towns in China.

Tips: Tibetan bar at night is characteristic in Langmusi, you can even find very tasty Apple Pie in local Restauran.

D6(February, 2018): Langmusi – Luqu
Langmusi, known in Tibetan as Taktsang Lhamo, lies in a beautiful valley and home of 2 monasteries: Kirti Monastery and Sertri Monastery.

When you explore this small town in the morning, you will find you are surrounded by alpine forests and amazing mountains. And today is the highlight of Monlam festival in Langmusi: The day of Thangka Unveiling.

In the early morning we will go the highest place (Gansu Temple) to take photos of sunrise. After breakfast, at around 10 AM, we will start take photos of Thangka unfolding in Langmusi, to enjoy the eyesight party full of faith.

The major master leads monks to carry the huge Buddha picture of embroider, to put it on the fixed display spot on the mountain nearby. Then monks will recite Buddha merits and chant. All people present here keep quiet. You will see the grand and astonishing scene, colorful pictures, and hundreds of thousands of monks.

In the afternoon we will drive to Luqu to have a good rest.

D7(February, 2018): Luqu – Xicang Temple – Zoige
In the morning drive to Xicang Temple to join in the Treasure-display Festival (Yes, A festival to display treasure). The most simplistic Tibetan folk ceremonies are still found here.

During this festival, Thousands of local People will wear beautiful and colorful new cloth to join in this festival. You will enjoy the whole traditional activities of this assembly. No matter you use wide-angle or telephoto, you will feel that it is not enough to take all photos of the whole folklore, such as clothes, head decorations, waist cloth, and treasures. Each one is very rare for you to see in your daily life.

1. Join in one of the largest and grandest religious festival in Tibetan area – Monlam Prayer Festival.
   Originated in Tibetan lunar calendar, the seventh year during Emperor Yongle period (AD 1409), Gelugpa Master Tsongkhapa advocated to hold the buddhist blessing dharma assembly in the Jokhang Temple for the first time. The Second Dalai Lama decided to hold the assembly annually and made it a convention. Monlam Prayer Festival is held from January 3 to January 17 in Tibetan lunar calendar each year. This celebration is combined by two parts, one is that monks gathering together to chant, the other is outdoor religious ceremony. Monlam Prayer Festival is one of the largest and grandest religious festival in Tibetan area. During the festival in Aba County, many temples including kirti gompa monastery, Gemo monastery, langyi monastery(largest Bon monastery in the world), Amchok Tsenyi Gompa(Chali monastery), Saige monastery, Dege monastery, will hold activities like chanting, dancing, unveil the Buddha, praying, exorcising devils, kora and other Buddhist activities. Tourist will enjoy various unique religious ceremonies of pray, Buddha, Tibetan costumes, masks, drums, Buddha instruments, Thangka, Yak butter flower and other religious culture. The whole day will be veiled within the mysterious religious atmosphere. Pilgrims from Sichuan-Gansu-Qinghai-Tibet areas will be more than ten thousand.
2. Grand scene of Unveil Thangka(Thangka Unfolding). Thangka Unfolding is a traditional festival of Tibetan people, usually held in early February and in the middle of April or June in Tibetan calendar. Unveil Thangka(Thangka Unfolding) is to carry out the valuable and huge embroidered Thangka from the monastery (usually they are rolled in and collected inside the monastery), and to display them for the pilgrims to worship. During that day, Tibetan people will dress up and go to the local monastery for preparation of Unveiling Thangka. When the ceremony starts, all Tibetan men carry the red-cloth roll of Thangka from the pavilion of the temple. Meanwhile, Tibetan lama start to play Buddha music, Tibetan people will follow the music band, and “invite” Buddha to the sunny and clean slope. Then they will roll out the red-cloth of Buddha along the slope. At this holt moment, devout Tibetan people will kneel down before Buddha, kowtow, chant, and wish for a blessing from Buddha that their family will be safe and happy.
3. One of the grandest religious activity in Tibetan Buddha temple – Mask Dancing. As one of the grandest religious activity in Tibetan Buddhist Monastery, this is a kind of religious dance played by lama monks during dharma assembly in Tibetan area. There are three forms of dance: single dance, double dance and group dance. During dances, they will wear mask, long gown, colorful cloth, knife and shield. The accompaniment of the instruments includes dance cymbals, horns, surnay and so on.
4. Visiting of tibetan buddhist monasteries of Gelugpa, Jonangpa and monastery of Bon religion!

Intro to Monlam Prayer Festival:

Monlam festival(AKA Molang Festival), held in January of lunar calendar, is one of most important festival in Tibetan area. It is originated from the blessing dharma assembly in Lhasa held in lunar January of Tibetan calendar (AD 1409), by Master Tsongkhapa. During Tsongkhapa’s creative exuberant period, he advocated to make rectification and reform on Tibetan Buddhism. Also he realized that he should implement the Buddhist philosophy into reaction. He set an example for others, made strict discipline and temple management, and focused on rebuilding the temple, to redevelop the career of Tibetan Buddhism. Therefore, he developed his fame by his management and reactions. In AD 1407, after Tsongkhapa went back Lhasa, he negotiated and decided to hold the blessing dharma assembly in the Jokhang Temple of Lhasa in the third year. To prepare this assembly, he rejected Emperor Yongle, Zhudi’s invitation to visit the capital at that time. In early lunar January, Tsongkhapa held ten-thousand blessing dharma assembly in the Jokhang Temple of Lhasa as expected, which was fairly grand and magnificent. Afterwards lunar blessing dharma assembly is developed into a convention in Gelugpa temple.

Day 1: Chengdu-Aba County

Visit: grassland on the road, Lang Yi Monastery.

In the morning: at 7: 30 we start the trip down Duwen highway.

In the afternoon: you will pass Miyaluo, Ma’erkang and Wengda Town while enjoying the landscape of Sequ River Valley, and arrive Aba county at about 16:30. Then have a visit of Langyi Monastery, which is the largest Monastery of Bon religion!

Day 2: Aba county – Jiuzhi – Banma —Wu Ming Buddhist Institute in Seda
Visit: Jiuzhi Nianbaoyuze National Geopark of China

We start the trip at about 7:30, drive to Nianbaoyuze National Geopark of China. It’s in Qinghai Province, which is a large, sparsely populated Chinese province spread across the high-altitude Tibetan Plateau. It’s a place of strong Tibetan and Mongol cultural traditions.

We will spend 2 hours in the Nianbaoyuze National Geopark of China, it’s a beautiful but rarely known by people.

Then keep driving to Sertar Larung Gar and we will arrive at about 18:00.

Day 3: Sertar Larung Gar, Whole day
Visit: Wu Ming Buddhist Institute, Mandala, sky burial

We will take you to the best places for photo!

Have a visit of Wu Ming Buddhist Institute. Then we will go to Mandala (4000 M), communicate with believers and monks, follow them to pray, pilgrimage, and experience their practice mode. During the spinning of the prayer wheel, tourists can feel the strong faith and tranquility of their mind.

we will go to the biggest celestial burial (4010 M) in the world, to know about the custom of celestial burial.
(PS: there is rich smell of the dead body on the celestial burial and the scene is very solemn. Please no noises. You need to be brave to suffer the celestial burial. The picture of it will keep in your mind untill the ceremony finished.)

Giving a bird view of the whole Larong Valley, tourists will see red houses, rolling smoke from chimneys and monks to and fro.

In the evening: under the boundless starry sky, there is one monk reading scripture in each red house, and the prayer wheels are still making sound in Mandala.

Day 4: Larong temple(Wuming Buddhism Institute) — Tagong town – Xinduqiao
Visit: Tagong temple, Muya Golden Tower

you can get up early to see the beautiful sunrise, take photos and enjoy the sunlight moving in the valley. After breakfast, we drive to xinduqiao via tagong town. We will stop at tagong town, a small lovely town. It is said that when Princess Wencheng brought with the scripture of 12-year-old Sakyamuni and passed by here, but she failed to take him away. Finally she had to build Tagong Temple there and brought another Buddha scripture from Chang’an to Lhasa.

Have a visit to tagong temple, take photo in front of muya golden tower.

Then keep driving to xinduqiao, paradise for photographers.

Day 5: Xinduqiao-Chengdu
Visit: Xinduqiao Town
In the the morning, have a walk in Xinduqiao town and take fotos. Xinduqiao was one of the favorite place of Chinese photographers.

Day 1: Chengdu—Bamboo Forest in south Sichuan

In the morning: Chengdu—Neijiang—Yibing

At noon: lunch

In the afternoon: tourists take a bus to the national scenic spot “Bamboo Forest in south Sichuan”, and appreciate the Yu River landscape which is “not Li River but is more beautiful than it”. We can visit Troublefree Valley (for more than 1 hour), to feel the quite road in lush forest with the history of thousands of years. We take a bus from Huanshan Road to the middle mountain of Bamboo Forest to climb Guanhai Pavilion, to take photos of Jade Gallery which is deep red and as bright as illuminating rays (for more than 20 minutes). After that We can visit Xianyu Cave (“the pearl in Bamboo Forest, the cultural resort of Buddhism and Taoism), to experience the spectacles of “one man stands, no one can conquer”; We can appreciate Tianbao Old Village built in late Ming Dynasty (for more than 1.5 hours), Danxia Stone Scripture with 36 Ways of ancient war art. Day 2: Bamboo Forest in south Sichuan—Chengdu

In the morning: tourists go to Zhaoying Pool, the movie scene of Crouching Tiger, to listen to the songs from frogs (free activities for 1 hour). After that We take a bus to visit Qicai Waterfall with the height difference of more than 200 M (for more than 1 hour). This waterfall is divided into four sections, and tourists can enjoy the great wonder of colorful rays hanging on the mouth of the water cave.

At noon: lunch (authentic bamboo banquet in Bamboo Forest)

After lunch tourists go to Shengling Mountain area, the longest cave in Asia. We can cross Champion Bridge, see the Scripture which is like looking for lover, and worship Bodhisattva there. After that We can enter the cave to enjoy the scenery of ladders, 13.8 KM long in total. There are charming natural scenes 650 million years ago: Welcome Towers, Guifei Pool, Dizangwang Bodhisattva, Natural Salt Pond, Rugged Mountain Path, Giant Footprints, Oriental Huge Dragon, Mochou Lake, Woman Mochou, Zodiac, Seven Fairies down to earth, the First Whip in the world, the Holy Spirit Torch, Confucius Asking Music, Towers in the Cave, and Ruyi Jingu Stick (for more than 2 hours). After We go out of the cave, We will return Chengdu and finish their trip pleasantly.

Xingwen Stones: National Scenic Resort, National 4A Tourism Area, National Science and Education Base.

On January 19, 2004, Xingwen Stones was approved to be a National Geological Park by Homeland Resource Department. In 2004, it started to apply to be a World Geological Park. On February 14, 2005, it was approved to be a World Geological Park by UNESO. On March 6, 2009, it was regarded as “the most beautiful World Geological Park in China” by Chinese committee of Beautiful Scenery. Hu Yaobang, the previous CPC Central Committee General Secretary, came to Xingwen in 1983, and pleasantly inscribed “Wonder of the World” for Stones. Top Three Scenic Sites: Stones on Surface—Karst Wonder, the world’s largest karst funnel—world’s spectacle, and China’s largest natural cave with the longest route for tourists — Tianquan Cave.

Day 1: Chengdu—Xingwen Stones

At 7:30 tourists start from the hotel, pass by Nei River in Tian City, pass by Zigong (the city of lanterns, the county of dragons, and the town of salt), or Yibin in Yueshan, and finally arrive at Xingwen Stones the World Geological Park, the biggest area of Hmong Gathering in Sichuan. After lunch tourists can take sightseeing scoter to core spot to see the first scene—Stones on Surface, shocking “Couple Peak”, imaginary “Seven Fairies”, interesting “Turtle and Bear”, and see flocks of sheep going down the mountain with the herd. Then they can take sightseeing elevator to see the second scene, the world’s largest karst funnel. There are steep cliffs, dangerous mountains, flying eagles and forests. They can see the stockade and hanging coffins of Bo people inside Bo people relics. The most characteristic culture of Bo people is the cliff funeral with the hanging coffin as their representative. Why would they hang the coffins? Why did Bo people distinct abruptly?

Then they go to visit the third scene, China’s largest natural cave with the longest route for tourists — Tianquan Cave (for about 2 hours). They can see all the following spectacles: Qionglu Mansions, Pendulous Tree, Cruise Promenade tunnel listening to the touching ballad of Bo people, Galaxy Star World, Journey to the West, Crocodile Sipping Water, Peacock, collapsing mountain, Miao customs, marriage resort, Dharma Wall, ancient city of Loulan, marriage tree, Jade Pool Wonderland, Five Horses with One Tank, air cliff, abyss, charming Stones, Giant Frog Defensive Holes, Peace Dove, Skylights Wonders and other spectacles which are not developed so well. Finally they can take a sightseeing boat to get out of the cave.

Day 2: Shunan Bamboo Forest—Chengdu

After breakfast tourists go to visit the Color Waterfall with the height difference of more than 200 M. It is divided into four sections. They can visit the scene of rays shedding on the water cave (for more than 10 minutes), and take a bus to Zhaoying Pool (for about 1 hour) to boat. During their boating they can find the movie scene of Crouching Tiger, and listen to frog singing.

After that they can go to Xianyu Cave (for about 1 hour, the pearl in Bamboo Forest, and the Buddhism and Taoism Resort), to experience the spectacle of “one man stands, no one can conquer”, to see Tianbao Old Village (for about 1 hour built in late Ming Dynasty, and see Danxia Sculpture of ancient war art. When they finish, they can have a lunch (the special Bamboo banquet there).

After lunch they can go to the garden of bamboo “Bamboo Kingdom” (for about 40 minutes, which is a derivative attraction), to know about charcoal of “Black Diamond”, and natural bamboo fiber which is reported by Channel CCTV 7 and CCTV 2. Tourists can take photos at Bamboo Forest, with the background of Jade Gallery which is “deep red and as bright as rays”. They can take sightseeing cableway to see the whole view of Bamboo Forest, to experience the feeling of walking on the top of bamboo and the power of large area of bamboo, and they can also go to visit Bamboo Forest Museum, the first professional bamboo museum. This museum focuses on collecting, exhibiting, and protecting bamboo cultural relic, doing academic research and social education, with the aim of “tracking national culture of thousands of years, and displaying bamboo culture with history of thousands of years”. Inside of this museum, there are six halls, one bamboo garden and one bamboo workshop, respectively displaying the charming Bamboo Forest scenery, rich bamboo resources and photos of profound bamboo culture.  After that they will take bus to return Chengdu and finish their trip pleasantly.

Tourists arrive at Chengdu and are arranged to go to hotel.

Day 2: Chengdu—Rilong Town

At 7:30 in the morning tourists start their trip, pass by Dujiangyan, the national scenic spot, drive upward along Min River, and enjoy the Min River landscape during the trip. They will pass the epicenter of Wenchuan Earthquake on May 12, to visit the earthquake site, and along No. 303 provincial road, and arrive at Wolong to have lunch. Wolong was the base place to produce national treasure—panda.

After lunch tourists will go upward along Wolong Valley. They should climb over Balang Mountain (4532 M), to enjoy the meadow and experience the wonderful scenery of the mountain. You can see the whole view of Mount Siguniang from Maobiliang in good weather.

Day 3: Changping Valley—Rilong

After breakfast, tourists enter Lama Temple in Changping Valley by car, where they can choose to enjoy the Changping Valley landscape by walking or riding horse (not included). Changping Valley is located in east of Shuangqiao Valley, 29 KM long in total and covering 100 square KM. it is not only a beautiful natural scenic spot and also a valuable historical site of ancient war battle. During the period of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty, soldiers from Qing court started two battles when they conquered Jinchuan. We cannot find the relics of the old battle field, but we can still imagine the sword and cannon at that time. Inside of the valley there are many Tibetan villages, Guozhuang Stage (Tibetan people will hold sacrifice ceremony every year) of Mount Siguniang at the bottom of the valley, and Lama Temple. People who are in good physique can walk to Muluozi and return back.

Day 4: Rilong—Jiaju

After breakfast, tourists leave Rilong go to and visit Shuangqiao Valley scenic spot. Mount Siguniang scenic spot is combined by Shuangqiao Valley, Changping Valley and Haizi Valley. Shuangqiao Valley is over 30 KM long, which is the earliest developed valley with the most complete infrastructure. The scenic spot are mainly snow-capped peaks, pasture, meadow and forests, which is the most beautiful valley in Mount Siguniang. Tourists can visit Shuangqiao Valley for around 3 hours, after that they can go to Xiaojin to have lunch.

In the afternoon they will go to the most beautiful Tibetan village in Danba—Jiaju Tibetan Village, to appreciate the architecture wonders of Tibetan Jiarong. If tourists arrive there earlier, our guide will take you to find those very special photography spots.

Accommodation: Jiaju Tibetan Village (several people a room, few double rooms for the old and women, equipped with solar water heaters)

Day 5: Jiaju—Moxi

After getting up tourists can take photos of Danba in haze, and take some photos of beauties in Danba for souvenir! After that they will leave Jiaju, and appreciate ancient watchtowers on Suo Slope in Danba across Dadu River. Then along Dadu River and Dadu Valley, they arrive at Luding County, where they can have lunch and visit Luding Chain Bridge conquered by Red Army.

In the afternoon tourists will arrive at Moxi Town in Hailuo Valley and stay in the local motel. If you arrive there earlier, we can take you to photograph in Yajiageng. Yajiageng is also a part of Gongka Mountain national scenic spot, and is the boundary mountain between Kangding and Luding County. Stones here will get rusty! There are also lush forests and high-mountain lakes. After visiting, tourists will return back Moxi Town (Moxi—Hongshitan, 2 hours needed, if arriving Moxi late than 15:00, this plan cancelled).

After dinner you can choose to enjoy the famous Gonka hot spring in Hailuo Valley (expense not included). This natural hot spring from glaciers can help you relax, and can make you feel the wonders and spectacles of nature. Gonka hot spring is at 1580 M, which is the lowest and best glacier hot spring among high-mountain springs in China.

Day 6: Hailuo Valley—Moxi

After breakfast tourists should take sightseeing car (expense not included) to Ganheba cable station after passing No. 3 Camp Site, and then they can choose 3 ways to see the glaciers:

• You can take the cable to across the glaciers and go to the No. 4 Camp Site to see glaciers. The tickets are expensive, round tickets for 150 per person (not included, only round tickets offered), but it is easier.
• You can walk to the glaciers: you can take sightseeing car from No. 3 Camp Site to Cable Tickets, and walk along the sightseeing path to lookout. This needs half hours to 1 hour for one-way walking. While walking, you can go through original forests and enjoy the beautiful scenery. When you arrive at the lookout, you can also walk deep down the glaciers, to see them closely. However, walking is very tired, and needs a lot of time
• You can also take the slider which is only in Sichuan to arrive at the lookout, and enjoy the scenery while walking. This way is not so tired, so it is suitable for those who are in weak condition and senior people. You can take the slider section by section, and the expense is from CNY 20 to 80 (not included). After visiting, tourists can take sightseeing car back Moxi Town and stay there at night.

Day 7: Moxi—top pf Niubei Mountain

After breakfast, they can leave Moxi, and arrive at Lengzi along Dadu River Valley. They can take the local SUV (not included) to arrive at the peak of Niubei Mountain. Although it is only 44 KM long from Lengzi to Niubei Mountain, it takes 3 to 5 hours, and tourists should get off the car to walk at some sections. You can imagine the bad road condition. So we do not recommend you drive your own cars to Niubei Mountain. Maybe your driving skills are good, but your car cannot afford the bad road condition. After arriving at the top of the mountain, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset and a crazy night! You can enjoy the delicious food, see beautiful scenery, talk with beautiful tourists and enjoy interesting games.

Accommodation: the simple shed on top of Niubei Mountain (several people a room)

Day 8: Top of Niubei Mountain—Chengdu

The sun rise from the east, and Niubei Mountain is at east side of Gonka Mountains, so it is necessary to get up early to take good photos! After finishing photographing, tourists can return back. About 3 hours later they can arrive at the foot of the mountain, and return Chengdu after passing by Ya’an.
